Products, prices, stock
Shopify puts product data on every product page for Google. Vektra reads the same data, so a question like “is the blue one in stock?” gets the price and stock your page shows today.
Shipping, returns, payment
Answers come from your own policy pages, quoted and linked. When you change a page, the assistant re-reads it on schedule; nothing to retrain.
“Where is my order?”
On the Business plan, connect Shopify with a read-only token (read_orders). The visitor gives the order number and the email used at checkout, and the assistant answers with the order status. Without both, it asks.

- In your Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes.
- Next to your live theme, click the ⋯ button, then Edit code.
- Open layout/theme.liquid.
- Paste the line just above </body> and click Save.
Questions
Do I need to install a Shopify app?
No. The assistant is one line of code in layout/theme.liquid. The optional order lookup uses a small private app you create yourself with only the read_orders permission; the console walks you through it.
Does it slow down my store?
The script loads after your page, with the defer attribute, and the chat window only loads when a visitor opens it.
Which languages does it answer in?
The language the visitor writes in, even if your store is in only one language.
What does it cost?
The free demo runs on your own shop without a card. Starter is €29 a month for the first 2 months, then €49; Business, with order lookups, is €149. Yearly costs ten monthly fees.
